The number of food outlets we have in Delhi are countless for now, by the time you count the existing ones, there would a healthy number of new ones and you’d be starting all over again. Health food is still a section that hasn’t been widely explored and few new entrants are taking that wide step of decreasing the gap.
One such place is Gyms Kook based in Punjabi Bagh, which concentrates at the gym going public with a healthy dash of fitness foods. The food is certainly not the usual restaurant type but sets a league of its own. It’s a small joint on a cafe platform but the menu is unusually big considering the size as well as the number of dishes it contains.
A Couscous salad has healthy dose of greens and chickpea with a dash of vinaigrette making for a fibrous start. The chicken Ham & Steak wrap sounds unlike chicken but has mostly boiled chicken cuts with very mild spices.
The wild mushroom and spinach pizza has great toppings with generous amount of serving but unfortunately the generosity spread down till the base, making is hard baked bread instead of a soft crust. The Moroccan grilled chicken and the Herb roasted chicken are great options from the main course section. Made with light spices and mostly cooked without out keeps them healthy and taste is completely surreal and unexpected from something that’s dry cooked.
The dark chocolate mousse is a great option for chocolate lovers with its rich and dark chocolate, it keeps your sugar levels well under control and works like a charm. The Banoffee pie seems fresh and is done with sucralose instead of usual sugar, making it a bit more healthy and guilt free than the other ones in market. The fresh cream and soft base worked well in favour of the pie making it a considerable option to stop by for if you are in vicinity.
The PLF for the place is INR 800 for 2, the number to contact them is (011)-33106230 and the suggested orders are Protein shakes, Herb roasted chicken and Banoffee pie.
